NIC: In need of leadership

North Idaho College has served the educational needs of the region since 1933. Credits earned at NIC eventually became acceptable at many four-year colleges and universities in the region. This speaks well for the curriculum and staff members working at the college.

At this time there needs to be a big focus on not allowing NIC to lose its accreditation with four-year schools. This will depend on the educational leadership skills of the board of directors and a continued emphasis on diversity of programs.
