Helen Cecelia Hacker, 97

Helen Cecelia Hacker went peacefully home to Jesus on December 20, 2021 at the age of 97.

Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 12 p.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2022, in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Rob Cook officiating.

Helen was born to John and Alice Bayt in March 1924 in Santa Rosa, California.

Helen met her husband, Ernest Hacker in Santa Rosa and married in January 1944. They went on to have two children, Ray and Pat. In the late 1970s, Helen and Ernie moved to Sandpoint, Idaho.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife and mother, Helen also held various volunteer roles at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Sandpoint. Throughout her entire life she held an unwavering faith in God.

Helen joins her parents, John and Alice; and her brothers John, Frank, Joe and Tony; her sisters, Rose and Hedy, in Heaven. She is survived by her sister, Frances; her daughter, Pat; and extended family.
