LEWISTON — For Coeur d’Alene, it was business as usual — with consecutive pins from 138 to 170 pounds — to beat the Lewiston Bengals 57-30 in a dual at Lewiston High on Saturday.

Dylan Moffat (138 pounds), Mason Keough (145), Porter Craig (152), Demarco Piazza (160) and Gunner Giulio (170) had pins, as did Rylan Rogers (195) and Beau Speelman (220) for Coeur d’Alene.

“Our tough guys in the middle of the lineup really stepped up and wrestled well,” Coeur d’Alene coach Jeff Moffat said. “The guys did a good job. We had some good practices on Thursday and Friday and I was happy with we came out and took care of business. Hopefully we can do that the rest of the season.”

Alyssa Randles (126) and Christian Kelly (98) won by major decision for Coeur d’Alene, which hosts Post Falls on Thursday.

“Alyssa fell behind early, but fought her way back,” Moffat said. “She had a really good match.”

Bonners Ferry tourney

BONNERS FERRY — Seth Martin was the lone champion — winning at 138 pounds — Post Falls, which ran away with the team title at the Conrad Garner Invitational at Bonners Ferry High.

Jared Wallace (98 pounds), Ethan Wilson (106), Kyle Miller (113), Tanner Piper (126), Connor McCarroll (132), Keanyn DeGroat (182) and Christopher Click (220) finished third for Post Falls, which finished with 194.5 points.

Brandon Williams (98), Marcus Regehr (145), Eli Richards (182) and Jackson Richter (220) won titles for Bonners Ferry, which finished with 152.

Zach Macdonald (106), Blaine Leonard (126) and Kenzie Lindsay (152) won titles for Lake City, which was third with 151 points.

Other area champions were: Timberlake’s Nicholas Follini (132) and James Billingsley (195) and Lakeland’s Devon Suko (170) and Preston Jeffs (285).

In the girls tournament, Lake City’s Alexxis Johnson (126/132), Post Falls’ Abigale Piper (145) and Savannah Rickter (160/190) won individual titles.
