This was a weird year for football. Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger retired, a coin flip was the most talked about thing in the sport, the Cowboys made the playoffs, and Antonio Brown quit mid game against the Jets.

One of the best things to come out of this season is the Super Bowl features one of the most likable quarterback matchups in recent history.

You have Joe Burrow’s Bengals against Matthew Stafford’s Rams.

Stafford was the lifeblood of the Detroit Lions for the better part of a decade before going Hollywood and joining the Los Angeles Rams.

It's his first year with the organization and he’s already playing in the big game. Now, if that doesn’t speak volumes about the Lions, I don’t know what will.

But in all seriousness, the Rams went all in this offseason to build a Super Bowl contender and even made moves during the season such as acquiring veteran pass rusher Von Miller and former Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

Both have come on strong since joining the Rams and have been a huge part of their push to the Super Bowl.

Earlier I referenced this year being a weird year for football. Another reason to add to that list is the Cincinnati Bengals are in the Super Bowl, I mean who saw that coming?

In the preseason, Cincinnati was at +10000 odds to make it to the big dance.

But with an impressive young leader in Burrow and one of the best rookie receivers to come out of the 2021 season Jamarr Chase, the Bengals were able to win the AFC North and shimmy its way through the playoffs to make it to the Super Bowl.

Burrow has breathed a new life into an organization that hasn’t won a playoff game since 1990 and in his first run he took them all the way to the biggest game in the sport.

So that begs the question , who will win this year’s Super Bowl?

Oddsmakers currently have the Rams as four point favorites.

Los Angeles seems to have the more built team, but the Bengals are riding an extreme high that may take them all the way to the Lombardi trophy.
