Patricia Jean Stewart, 88

Patricia Jean Stewart passed away Jan. 22, 2022.

She was born March 1, 1933, to William and Jean Earls in Hove, England, near Brighton. She had a younger brother named Michael. After her mother’s divorce, she moved to Canada with her mother and younger brother at the age of 13.

Patricia Wrangler met the love of her life, William McLean Stewart III, while attending the University of Syracuse. They went on to get married in June of 1954 and had two children, Bruce and Deborah Stewart. They were married for 67 loving years.

Once the children were born, William and Patricia moved the family to the Pacific Northwest so William could attend the University of Washington. Shortly after graduation the family joined the Air Force where they served for over 20 years. Patricia’s favorite tours while in the service were Guam and Greece. She loved the beach and great outdoors!

After retirement, William and Patricia spent time in Rancho Bernardo, Calif., where she was an avid tennis player. Later in life they moved to Hayden, Idaho, to be near their great-grandchildren. Patricia’s favorite pastime was camping and her hobbies were painting and gardening.

Patricia is survived by her two children, Bruce Stewart and Deborah Findley, along with their five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
