MOSES LAKE — An Ellensburg-based musical education organization will sponsor a free concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Huck Fuller building at the Grant County Fairgrounds, 3953 Airway Dr. NE in Moses Lake.
The “Healing Music In the Midst of COVID” concert, sponsored by Learn from the Masters Music Outreach (LMMO), will feature electric and acoustic guitar, said LMMO founder Larry Birger. Featured artist is Adam Cord, guitarist for the Youngstown (Ohio) Symphony.
Birger said Cord will be accompanied by Birger’s band, Some Other People.
The concert will feature cover music from a variety of performers, from the late 1960s rock group the Youngbloods to John Denver to the legendary rock band Led Zeppelin.
“We want to bring an experience,” Birger said.

Grant Co., Moses Lake to cooperate on 2nd lake crossing
EPHRATA — Grant County and Moses Lake city officials will be working together to study the possibility of a second bridge across Moses Lake. Grant County Commissioners and the Moses Lake City Council reviewed a potential interlocal agreement at a meeting Monday.
