WALLACE — Vander Brown scored 39 points — all in the first three quarters — for the Lakeside Knights in a 98-49 Scenic Idaho Conference win over the Wallace Miners on Monday night at Kirby Krulitz Court.

Qwincy Hall had 27 points, including six 3-pointers for Lakeside, which beat Wallace 106-52 last Friday in Plummer behind 50 points from Brown. Brutis SiJohn added 22 points.

Lakeside (11-3, 4-0 SIC) is off until the 1A Division I District 1 championship game on Feb. 24 at North Idaho College.

Robbie Morin scored 17 points for Wallace (3-10, 0-3), which hosts Genesis Prep tonight at 7.

PRIEST RIVER — Luke Trogden scored 27 points for the Tigers in a win over the Spartans junior varsity at Priest River High.

“We played fairly well for most of the game,” Mullan coach Paul Elston said. “The second half, the guys came out and played well at both ends and we finished a little better.”

Mullan (5-10) visits Wallace in a varsity-only game on Thursday at 6 p.m.
