Craig Alan Herreid left this world Feb. 6, 2022, escorted by Jesus to Eternal Life. He was born Sept. 12th, 1962, in Polson Montana to Carole (Herreid) Fredrikson and Loren Herreid (deceased). He is survived by his mother, Carole Fredrikson and stepfather Keith Fredrikson of Hayden, son Marshall Alles of Anchorage Alaska, sister Audra Packer of Spokane Washington, niece Baylie Fletcher, nephew Colton Fletcher both of Spokane and several aunts and uncles in Montana.

Craig grew up in Kalispell, Mont., where he graduated from high school, spending wonderful time on Flathead Lake in a cabin and boats with "Poppa". He loved his black pickup, fishing, camping, bicycling, his "Steelers" and our little dogs.

He entered the Air Force and ended up in Alaska where he met Theresa Alles. They were married and had one son Marshall in 1983. Unfortunately the marriage didn't survive and ended in divorce.

Craig lived in Seattle for several years where he achieved an AA degree in architectural drafting from South Seattle Community College. He loved to draw and design. He worked for several drafting firms in Seattle including, Lindal Cedar Homes, and Stratford homes in Rathdrum.

He moved to the Hayden area in 2008 and attended the Dalton Gardens Church of Christ where he was baptized into Christ.

There will be a Memorial Service held at Dalton Gardens Church of Christ on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m., 6439 N. Fourth Street Dalton Gardens, ID 83815.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Newby-ginnings the Veteran organization in Post Falls.
