The Western B tournament will begin Thursday in Ronan and features the boys and girls teams from Thompson Falls in first-day play.

The fourth-seeded Lady Hawks will play top seed (District) Loyola Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The Thompson Falls boys, also a fourth seed out of District play, will play number one seed (District) Florence at 3:00 p.m., also at the Ronan Events Center..

If the Lady Hawks win, they will meet the winner of the game between Anaconda and Eureka Friday at 8:15 p.m.

If the T Falls boys defeat Florence, they will face the winner of the game between Powell County and Eureka, Friday at 4:45 p.m.

In Class C play in Frenchtown, 14C District girls number one seed Superior will play Shields Valley at 3:30 p.m. Thursday. The winner of that game will advance to face the winner of the game between Twin Bridges and Philipsburg.

In the boys Class C tournament, 14C top seed St. Regis takes on Harrison-Willow Creek Thursday at 6:30 p.m. That winner will move on to meet the winner of the game between Seeley Swan or Drummond, with the outcome of that opponent to be determined Monday via a playoff challenge game.
