Sims, a 5-foot-10 junior post, averaged 17 points and 14 rebounds a game for the Trojans en route to the Avista Winter Classic Championship, beating Lewiston 56-48 in the title game. Sims also had 13 points and 17 rebounds in the Ruby Bracket Championship game at the Tarkanian Classic on Dec. 21 in Las Vegas against Huntsville, Ala. “She’s been playing really well for us lately,” Post Falls coach Marc Allert said. “She’s been rebounding really well. She goes and gets the ball and just continues to make plays.”
