Beverly June (Pierce) Pennington, 81, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away on Jan. 4, 2022, after an extended stay at Lacrosse Assisted Living in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

She was born on Feb. 17, 1940, in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Samuel and Edith Pierce. Beverly grew up in Hope, Idaho. She was married to Charles Lantto on Aug. 23, 1957. They divorced in 1974 but remained lifelong friends.

Beverly was the youngest of eight children and had many fond memories of her childhood in Hope, Idaho, on her father’s 80 acres of property.

She is survived by a daughter, Lori Alcantara and husband, David, son, William Lantto and wife, Tammy. She has 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her son, Lonnie; daughter, Linda; son, Robert; and one great-great-grandson, Finn.
