Flathead High School captured first place at the Montana All-State Extravaganza virtual tournament this weekend.

Billings-West placed second and Billings Skyview in third.

Twenty-six schools Class AA to Class C schools competed in the virtual tournament.

Flathead Head Coach Shannon O’Donnell said, while the students prefer in-person tournaments, it was an opportunity to compete against schools they don’t normally get to in a typical season.

“The team weathered a few of the inevitable tech issues of the first day and overcame some strong competition from Billings West. I couldn’t be more proud of their positivity and performances this weekend,” she said.
