Thomas James 'Tom' Hewitt, 74

Thomas James “Tom” Hewitt, 74, passed away Jan. 7, 2022, at his home in Polson.

Tom was born to James Olin and Betty Ann (Wooster) Hewitt in Gillette, Wyoming, on April 6, 1947.

Tom married Deana Tilton in Kalispell in 1970. Tom was very proud to be a Navy veteran.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents James O. Hewitt and Betty A. Gerrity, Richard Hewitt, and Jimmy Gerrity.

Tom is survived by his wife Deana Hewitt, daughter Patricia Morehouse (Matt), granddaughter Madeleine Morehouse of South Carolina, daughter Daishia Brosten (Kyle), grandson Ethan Brosten of Kalispell, brother Gary Hewitt (Denise) of Kalispell, sister Laurie Dassonville (Brad) of Glendale, Arizona, and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no public service at this time. Family will do a celebration of Tom’s life at a later time.
