After being sidelined the past two years because of COVID-19, the popular Coeur d'Alene Football Coaches Clinic is scheduled to return next month.

The event, sponsored by BSN Sports and Parker Toyota, is slated for Feb. 25-26 at Coeur d'Alene High.

College and high school coaches from all over the region — and beyond — are scheduled to speak at the clinic, which begins Feb. 25 at 4 p.m. and resumes Feb. 26 at 8:30 a.m.

College coaches are expected from Idaho, Montana, Eastern Washington, Central Washington, Carroll, Eastern Oregon, the University of Mary, Whitworth, Pacific Lutheran, College of Idaho, Rocky Mountain and Montana Western, as well as coaches from the Spokane Shock arena football team.

A pair of recently hired assistants at the University of Idaho, Rob Aurich (defensive coordinator/linebackers coach) and Luke Schleusner (offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach), are scheduled to speak.

Three Coeur d'Alene assistant coaches are scheduled to speak, as are Sandpoint High head coach Ryan Knowles and Idaho State assistant coach Byron Hout, the former Lake City High star.

College credit is available. Cost (before Feb. 11) is $70 per coach, with a flat fee of $450 for seven or more coaches from the same school.
