Robert W. Mobarry, 80

On Dec. 25, 2021, Christmas Day, Robert W. Mobarry (aka – “Bob”, “Monk”, “Pop”, “Dad”, “Grandpa”, “Gpa”), age 80, passed away, with his wife, Elaine, by his side, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

He was born in Long Beach, Calif., to Robert G. and Mary D. Mobarry. After graduating Loara High School in Anaheim, Calif., he enlisted in the National Guard, and then proceeded to start his career and family. For several years he was involved in the production and management of audio tapes, until he found his true calling for electrical contracting. While living in California, he was a coach and mentor to many youth organizations, particularly Pop Warner Football.

Moving to Coeur d’ Alene in 1992, he owned and operated an electrical contracting company for many years before retiring to enjoy his passion of fishing the beautiful rivers and lakes of the Northwest and spending more time with his family and friends. His fondness for frequenting restaurants and love of music was outshone by no one. He was always cracking jokes, conversing with strangers, and giving to those in need. His love for his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids, and his numerous animals over the years was felt and very well known by many.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Mobarry; daughter and son-in-law, Ceci and Frank Stotz; son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Kim Mobarry; and numerous grandkids and great-grandkids. Thank you to The Lodge (Bristol Heights) for their wonderful care. A celebration of life with family will be held later this year. *NEE NEE NAA NAA NOO NOO*

GOD SAW YOU GETTING TIRED

God saw you getting tired

and a cure was not to be

so He put his arms around you

and whispered, “Come to Me”.

With tearful eyes we watched you

and saw you pass away

and although we love you dearly

we could not make you stay.

A Golden heart stopped beating

hard working hands at rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us

He only takes the best.
