A Columbia Falls man accused of raping numerous children at his home and recording the assaults on video entered a not guilty plea last week.

David Elven Kellogg, 53, is accused of felony charges of aggravated sexual intercourse without consent, sexual intercourse without consent, sexual abuse of children, and criminal possession of dangerous drugs.

Kellogg pleaded not guilty on all charges at his arraignment Jan. 13 in Flathead County District Court in front of Judge Heidi Ulbricht. Kellogg remains held in the Flathead County Detention Center on a $300,000 bond. His next court date is May 18 for an omnibus hearing.

Kellogg is facing up to 100 years in prison if convicted of the crimes.

Court documents filed Dec. 29, 2021 allege that Kellogg’s sexual abuse of children dates back four or five years. The rapes would take place at his home and he would often record the sexual assaults on video.
