Donald (Don) Opha Clark, 92

Our beloved Donald (Don) Opha Clark passed away Dec. 21, 2021, due to natural causes at the age of 92. He and his soulmate, Eleanore, were married for 65 years and had two daughters, Rita and Bobbi. Don leaves behind his daughter, Bobbi as well as four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He is now reunited with his beautiful wife and his daughter, Rita.

Don was born in Detroit on May 29, 1929, and was one of five children. After starting a family in Cleveland, Don and Eleanore moved to California, where Don eventually retired from a successful career in concrete sales. He was also a police officer in his younger years in Ohio. In 1994, they moved to Coeur d'Alene and were soon followed by many of his family members. He was a resident of Hayden until his passing.

Don was a proud veteran and served in the Navy aboard the destroyer U.S.S James C. Owens and was fortunate to have been able to travel the world. He enjoyed such activities as hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family. Don's charismatic personality always charmed those around him and brought a smile to those in need.

His legacy has changed the lives of his friends and family and the world is a better place because of his generosity and kindness.

A simple man, Don requested a family memorial celebrating his life at a time and place to be determined at a later date.
