COEUR d’ALENE — Sam Entzi hit a 3-pointer to break a tie early in the fourth quarter, and the Coeur d’Alene Vikings finished strong to knock off the Lewiston Bengals 57-46 in Inland Empire League play Tuesday night at Viking Court.

Cooper Larson scored 19 points for Coeur d’Alene (9-3, 3-1 IEL), hitting 7 of 8 free throws in the fourth quarter. Cameron Cope added 14 points, Alex Nipp nine for the Vikings.

“Our bigs played great,” Coeur d’Alene coach Jon Adams said. “Between Sam, Alex and Cam, that was 32 of our 57 points. They were physical against a big, physical team. And Sam and Alex were stepping out and knocking down 3s.

“We were without our point guard, Steven Burgess (medical condition), and I was super proud of my other guards, Cooper, Logan (Orchard), Tugg (Wellsandt) and Chandler (King).”

Chasse Eke and Braydon Forsman scored 10 points each for Lewiston (11-3, 1-2).
