Jewish Cultural Film Festival in February

The Spokane Area Jewish Family Services is presenting its 18th annual Spokane Jewish Cultural Film Festival on Feb. 17-27.
The opening night screening and post-film discussion will take place in person with COVID-19 safety precautions in place at the historic Garland Theater in Spokane. There will also be virtual access to all films and numerous programs such as filmmaker Q and As.
This year the festival is showing six feature films and five short films. Spokane’s Jewish film festival enhances the cultural life of both the local Jewish community and the region as a whole.
The festival proceeds directly support the human services work of JFS. Through check-in phone calls, client consultations and advocacy, transportation to medical appointments, its food bank and its rent and utility assistance program, JFS continues to support families and individuals as they face the challenges of the pandemic and other forms of hardship.
Festival ticket prices are $8 daily for general admission and $42 for a pass. Daily tickets are $5 for students and seniors and $27 for passes. Tickets: sjcff2022.eventive.org.
