YMCA needs more programs for active seniors

With reference to the story, "'Y' offers something for all ages, people", I find there is a huge gap for active senior citizens' programs offered.

Although active older adult classes are offered at many other locations throughout the country as well as advertised on the Northwest YMCA website, of which the Litehouse YMCA is a part). I have yet to see such classes at the Litehouse Y.

Classes such as chair yoga and Silver Sneaker classes should be a part of the local Y's program for active seniors and adults. We are expected to pay a minimum of $50 per month to belong yet there is nothing offered for us older people.

Please tell the new CEO Alan Lesher and director of membership and wellness Heidi Bohall of this huge gap path the upcoming town hall meeting.
