POST FALLS — Clark Fork boys basketball kept on chuggin' Friday night.
The Wampus Cats took down Immaculate Conception Academy 58-39 to extend their winning streak to 8 games.
It was Clark Fork's third game in four days.
"The boys looked pretty good," head coach Heath Beason said. "They looked a lot better than the first three-game week that we had. We tried to take it a little easier in practice."
The Wampus Cats led 27-12 at the half and scored 24 points in the third quarter. Clark Fork also hit eight 3-pointers.
"Our shooting was phenomenal," Beason said.
Chase Sanroman had four of those eight 3s and finished with 14 points.
"They left him open and he made them pay," Beason said.
Carter Sanroman tallied 15 points, six rebounds, six steals and three assists. Sam Barnett grabbed 14 points and four steals. Ethan Howard, Cole Reuter and Antonio Mayorga each had 5 points.
"We had some kids really step up tonight," Beason said. "They stepped up when we needed a shot or we needed a steal."
Clark Fork (11-6) heads to Wallace at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Wampus Cats beat the Miners 52-46 on Jan. 20 at CFHS.
