Loving husband, father, son and uncle.

Bill was born July 1, 1948, to William Senior and Alice (Bolich) Monaghan in Spokane, Wash. He attended St. Thomas & Coeur d'Alene High School. He enlisted in the Navy and served aboard the USS Georgetown and the USS Neosho.

In 1971, he married Lucinda Thompson. Bill Worked for the Idaho Department of Transportation. He loved plowing snow in the winter. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping with family and shooting pool. He shot league for Bob's 21 for several years.

Bill passed peacefully in his sleep at home in Post Falls from a short illness.

He leaves behind Cindy, his wife of 51 years, and his son, Daniel. Grandsons Silas and Roan Monaghan and Abby and Liam Fitzgerald. Sister-in-law Kathy (Bruce) Jackson and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Alice, brother Mike Monaghan Sr., and sister Lynda (Monaghan) Dunham.
