KVRI to hear sturgeon, burbot updates

BONNERS FERRY — Updates on the Kootenai Tribe of Idaho's sturgeon and burbot programs are among the items on the agenda for Kootenai Valley Resource Initiative's upcoming meeting on July 18.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Boundary County Annex Building, 6566 Main St.

Giving the presentation on the sturgeon and burbot programs will be Shawn Young and Kootenai Tribe Hatchery staff.

Also on the agenda will be updates of KVRI's regular subcommittees and agency updates.
