Judith (Judy) Catherine Johnson Andreasson, 72, passed away at the Hospice of North Idaho Schneidmiller House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Monday, June 27, 2022, after a long battle with a rare brain tumor. Judy was born in Conrad, Mont., on Nov. 8, 1949, to Catherine and Leonard Johnson. She attended Brady High School and graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in sociology and Eastern Washington University with a master's in social work.
Judy worked at North Idaho College, where she taught sociology classes. She enjoyed teaching yoga at her at her home studio in Athol, Idaho. Her favorite hobbies were working in the garden, reading, playing flute, traveling and socializing with family and friends.
Judy is survived by husband Karl Andreasson, daughters Janet Lea, Jennifer Lea and Noura Alfadl Andreasson, mother Catherine Johnson and siblings Dale Johnson, Connie Johnson, Kim Johnson, Arleen Johnson, Audrey Johnson and Nora Engel.
A celebration of Judy's life will be held at the Bayview Community Center on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, at 2 p.m., 20298 E. Perimeter Road, Bayview, Idaho. All that knew her are welcome.
