The Inland Empire Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society is back in town today after two years off due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The show kicks off at 10 a.m. at the Sandpoint Marina and city boardwalk area with the fleet scheduled to parade through Sand creek at 3 p.m.

The show will include displays of antique and classic boats that date to the 1920s.

The Sandpoint show is the sole judged show in the northwest. The boat's construction, age, design, and condition represent various classes of boats and associated recognition awards.

There will also be a "kid's boat building program" with the record of completed boats exceeding 350.

The chapter's event trailer will be on site, staffed by chapter members who can provide information on joining the chapter as well as general information.
