2020 ELECTION: Distrust is nothing new
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 2 years, 5 months AGO
Quotes from KellyAnne’s book “Here’s the Deal.” It’s OK — even American — to question whether your sacred vote has been counted properly. And just because you question election results or distrust partisan activists fueled by “Zuck Bucks” does not mean you are “QAnon Shaman.” In fact, casting doubt on the election results would put you in the company of plenty of Democrats, who have not accepted a Republican presidential victory this century! There were Democrat members in the House who voted against certifying the Electoral College wins on Jan. 6, 2000, 2004 and 2016, sowing distrust in the election results each time…
What happened in 2020 can never be fully understood.
There were transparency issues. How do you get people to not trust the results of an election? By changing the rules at the last minute, by accepting ballots long past the deadline, by sending people mail-in ballots they did NOT request for elections they do not seem interested in until you show up at their door offering to help them complete and deliver it, by states giving you two months before Election Day to vote and then taking two weeks after Election Day to count the ballots.
When a batch of votes comes in overwhelmingly for one candidate in the middle of the night, THAT creates doubt.
The difference in 2020 was Big Tech and media censorship. There was a blanket censorship of negative, truthful stories about Hunter Biden and the Biden family’s sketchy ties to China…
Do we not think Americans are smart enough to sort out the facts and make their own judgment?
