Rathdrum flag retirement ceremony slated

RATHDRUM — The American Legion Manuel Schneidmiller Post 154 will host a flag retirement ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 11 at the Rathdrum Lions Club at the northwest corner of Meyer Road and Highway 53.

Worn and tattered flags may be brought to the flag receptacle in front of Rathdrum City Hall at 8047 W. Main St. by noon on Friday June 10, or brought to the ceremony.

New replacement flags can be purchased through Rathdrum American Legion Post 154 by calling Vice Commander Bill Kinder at 208-661-6850.
