The tournament featured competitions in three-point shooting and the vertical jump with the winner being awarded prizes.

Despite the games not counting towards a team’s records, the competition was still fierce. One Ephrata player needed to have a cut bandaged up during the game.

EPHRATA — Ephrata High School hosted its Buckets in the Basin Summer Tip Off tournament this past weekend, hosting several varsity and JV teams from around the area. The teams competed throughout the weekend, with Lake Roosevelt winning the varsity bracket and Almira/Coulee-Hartline winning the JV bracket.
