Crash kills one, injures two

A Medimont woman was killed, and two others were injured, in a head-on collision Friday night on Interstate 90 just east of Wolf Lodge.
Idaho State Police report the two-vehicle crash involved a tractor-trailer driven by a 45-year-old man from Homestead, Fla., and a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 36-year-old woman from Medimont.
Per an ISP news release, the Chevrolet was traveling west in the eastbound lanes when the collision occurred, around 10 p.m.
The tractor-trailer driver and his passenger, a woman also 45 and from Homestead, Florida, were transported to the hospital by ambulance.
The woman driving the Chevrolet died at the scene. Next of kin have been notified.
The roadway was blocked for roughly 3.5 hours to allow emergency personnel to respond.
ISP is investigating. The identities of those involved have not been released.
