The Music Conservatory of Coeur d'Alene will hold its first outdoor concert on at 7 tonight.
It will be a collaborative evening featuring visual arts. Plein Air painting will appear with local artists while light jazz vocals and guitar with Rhys Gerwin and Mai-Liis will delight the audience.
Mai-Liis is a trained Alexander technique artist who is new to North Idaho. She teaches artistry with horseback riding and coaches performance.
Gerwin grew up in the North Idaho area and went to the Cornish School of the Arts in Seattle. He is a free-spirited, refined guitarist.
Concert attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and outdoor chairs to enjoy the show on the conservatory lawn. The artists will be on site after 6 p.m.
The Music Conservatory of Coeur d'Alene is at 627 N. Government Way.
Admission is $20 per family or $15 per person.
