Loyal Edward Lincoln (Ed)

Oct. 30, 1954 — Feb. 25, 2022

Loyal Edward Lincoln (Ed), 67, of Post Falls passed away Friday, Feb. 25, 2022, at Schneidmiller Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene. Ed was born Oct. 30, 1954, in Spokane, Wash., to Jean (Schuster) and Loyal Lincoln, Jr.

Ed was raised in Spokane and attended East Valley High School. He worked at Kaiser Aluminum in the Spokane Valley (Trentwood) for 46 years, retiring in 2020. Ed was a proud member of the United Steelworkers Union.

After retiring, Ed dedicated his time to helping take care of his granddaughter, Ryker, who was the apple of his eye! He had a love for animals, especially his dog, Athena, and enjoyed fishing and taking his daughter, Taylor, camping when she was younger. He was hard on the outside but would do anything to help his family or friends. He will be greatly missed!

Ed is survived by daughters Taylor Lincoln (Dustin), Christina Hull (Brad), Canada Anderson (Clint) and Nature Schmitz (Kent), all of Spokane; son, Kyler Lincoln of Virginia; grandchildren, Ryker Lincoln-Gorton, Adelyn Johnson, Justus and Canyon Anderson, Archer and Kinlee Schmitz, Kayson and Brelee Lincoln; and close friend/ex-wife, Joanne Rolfe of Coeur d’Alene.

No services will be held at this time.

Yates Funeral Home is entrusted with final arrangements. Please visit Ed’s online memorial and sign his guestbook at yatesfuneralhomes.com.
