MILITIA: Burden of proof
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 3 years, 2 months AGO
This is in response to the Letter to the Editor on Feb. 25 titled MILITIA: One version of story from Kenny Moore. First, thank you for your service.
Your letter basically refuted my contention that there was no Antifa threat in the first place. I would like to read the police report verifying your account. I am sure you filed a report with the proper authorities so they could investigate the matter and refer it to the mayor so he or she could call in a real well-regulated militia called The National Guard so they could deal with the situation, right? It’s funny — I didn’t see any of your facts in the papers or on the TV news which I watch religiously, (except for Faux News).
I agree with you 100% that “Our Founding Fathers knew what they were doing.” And what they did was say that the right to bear arms was connected to belonging to a “well-regulated” militia. The vigilantes I saw in downtown Coeur d’Alene last summer were a rag-tag mob.
We don’t need any idiots like teenager Kyle Rittenhauser coming to Coeur d’Alene (with an illegal rifle) and shooting peaceful protesters. And if you’re worried about BLM, just tell the cops to quit killing unarmed innocent minorities. Problem solved!
By the way, Google “Top law enforcement officials say the biggest domestic terror threat comes from white supremacists.”
