Camp Fire Camp Sweyolakan in Coeur d’Alene is looking for former campers, counselors and staff members to share their memories.

The summer camp celebrates its 100th birthday on July 2 and 3 and is seeking stories and photos from the Sweyolakan community about their camp experiences on the shores of Mica Bay.

Located on the shores of Lake Coeur d'Alene on a 300-acre recreational property, the camp is operated by Camp Fire Inland Northwest.

Camp Fire Inland Northwest was established in 1914 and provides youth leadership, after-school groups, camping and environmental education for all youth ages 3-18 in 18 counties in eastern Washington and North Idaho.

Over 2,000 youth are served annually through club programs and two summer camps: Camp Sweyolakan on Lake Coeur d’Alene and Camp Dart-Lo in North Spokane.

The celebration weekend will include two full-day public celebrations and a counselor/staff reunion.

To share memories and photos visit campfireinc.org/BIRTHDAY or contact the office at 509-747-6191 during business hours.
