Beverly Jean Hudson passed away Jan, 31, 2022, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Born May 8, 1925, in Klamath Falls, Ore., to Lucille M. Beckley and John ‘Bud’ D. Conway, she grew up in Oakland, Calif.
After graduating from Oakland High School and attending the University of California Berkeley, she went to Reno, Nev., to attend the Women’s Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) program. She lived for a time in San Luis Obispo, Calif., where she obtained her real estate and broker's licenses. She also earned her private pilot's license.
She moved to Coeur d’Alene, where she opened her own real estate office and later worked for various real estate agencies. She was voted Coeur d’Alene Realtor of the Year. She loved tennis, golf, reading and spending time with her friends vacationing and traveling.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Pam Slinker of Enterprise, Ore., son David Slinker of Ojai, Calif., and two grandsons, Jake Slinker of Atlanta, Ga., and Nathan Slinker and Aschley Humphrey of Enterprise, Ore. And her many friends in Coeur d’Alene.
