The Sandpoint softball team had to postpone its season opener against Timberlake.
Its game against the Tigers was originally scheduled to take place today at 4 p.m. at Memorial Field, but due to poor field conditions, the game has been postponed.
According to head coach Elizabeth-Hawkins Williams, a makeup date for the game is still yet to be announced.
The Bulldogs' next scheduled event is the WTP Spring Break Classic held at Vallivue High School.
The tournament will be a two-day event starting on Friday, March 25, and ending on Saturday, March 26.
Sandpoint won't have a home game until April 14 against Bonners Ferry.
