Devin Weeks is a third-generation North Idaho resident. She holds an associate degree in journalism from North Idaho College and a bachelor's in communication arts from Lewis-Clark State College Coeur d'Alene. State representative candidate Tim Kastning has withdrawn from the Republican primary election May 17.
Candidate filing information on the Idaho Secretary of State's website shows that Kastning's withdrawal was made official Monday.
"He is withdrawing for personal reasons," his wife, Karen, told The Press via email.
Tim Kastning, of Rathdrum, is now out of the running for Legislative District 3 Seat B. Candidates left are Jordan Redman and Rick Small.
Kastning previously ran for office when he was a candidate for Idaho Legislative District 2 Seat B in 2020. In 2021, he endorsed Lt. Gov. Janice McGeachin's campaign for governor.
