Paul Raymond Burruss Jr., age 51 of Coeur d’Alene Idaho passed away on March 9, 2022, surrounded by his family. Paul’s father, Paul Raymond Burruss Sr. is now deceased having passed away in 2000. Paul is survived by his mother, Laura Jeffries.

Paul was born to Laura and Paul Sr. in Boise, Idaho, on April 4, 1970. From there, the family settled in Lakeland, Fla., where Paul came of age with his three siblings, his older sisters, Michele and Denise, and younger brother, Chad.

Paul was raised in the Jehovah Witness faith and although he was not practicing at the time of his passing, he held these core beliefs close to his heart his whole life and would often speak on his love for Jehovah.

Paul met and married his first wife and from that marriage came his three daughters, Chelsea Renee, Kylie Ann and Maegan Rae.

Paul met and married his second wife, Amanda. They would go on to share their lives together for the next 16 years until the time of his passing. From that union came his fourth daughter, Ireland Grace Marie.

Paul was best known for his deep love of his four girls, his three grandsons as we well as his fierce loyalty to family.

Paul had a keen mind for problem solving and an innate ability to troubleshoot and fix all things. From sewing his daughter’s toys to fixing complex electrical systems — Paul had a golden touch.

Paul began working at an early age to help support the family, learning all manner of trades and industry. As he grew into adulthood, he came up through the ranks of the maintenance department at the Coeur d’Alene Resort and worked as the Maintenance Director for the Davenport Lusso Hotel in Spokane, Wash.

After his father passed in 2000, Paul shifted directions to become the owner of his own sprinkler installation and landscaping company, KCM Sprinklers. He ran this business successfully for several years until the recession of 2008 and then quickly transitioned into the world of well pump installation and maintenance. He found a passion for this work — loved working outdoors, loved the people he worked with and was always proud to call himself a “Pump Guy”.

Paul loved hunting, fishing, motorcycles, and dirt bikes and often spoke of his passion for surfing from the years he spent living in Hawaii in his younger days.

Paul his survived by his wife, Amanda and the following family members: his mother, Laura Jeffries; his oldest sister, Michele Clark, her husband Todd Clark, and Michele’s sons, Jordan and Chase who were like sons to Paul; his next oldest sister, Denise Burruss; and his younger brother, Chad Burruss; his cousins, Craig Burruss and Tony Burruss but whom Paul called ‘brothers’ as they were raised like brothers with Paul; his daughter, Chelsea Leonard and her husband Ryan Leonard; his daughter, Kylie Kings, her husband Brayden Kings and Paul’s first born grandson, Jackson Burruss and his granddaughter, Lilly Kings; his daughter, Maegan Johnson, her husband, Nicolas Johnson and Paul’s second born grandson, Naziah Johnson and third born grandson, Nakaiah Johnson; and his daughter, Ireland Burruss.
