RATHDRUM — Seright’s Ace Hardware in Rathdrum is calling all makers, creators and builders.

Honoring “the power of the creative spirit,” the March Maker Madness is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., Saturday, for free.

“We want Seright’s Ace to be a place where people not only can come for supplies, but a place where they can come for inspiration, encouragement and support,” said Lance Hough, marketing event coordinator.

Local artists will provide demonstrations on painting, woodworking, pencil drawing, sculpting and metal work.

Attendees may enter a drawing for a prize package of “Master Maker Tools of the Trade,” worth over $500.

Family friendly duct tape crafts will be available. Free snacks and drinks will be provided. Gizmo-CDA will provide a hands-on robotics demonstration. Seright’s is at 14236 Idaho 41, in Rathdrum.
