Mr. Gookin surprised, disappointed and shocked me at the Lincoln Day Dinner because he could not sit at our table as it was reserved. Upon being told it was reserved for those with its number on their name badges, he proceeded to use foul language to include the f-word more than once.

In his anger he was disrespectful, offensive and downright ugly to the point of throwing his cloth napkin at us women at the table and spewing “have a good f-in time!”

It is shocking and unacceptable for an elected official to behave in such a way and in the presence of women! Keep this in mind as you read any of his comments printed in this paper.

Just sayin’!
