STAFF REPORT | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 3 years, 1 month AGO
MOSES LAKE — Travelers westbound on Interstate 90 will experience some delays next week as paving begins on a section of freeway near Moses Lake.
“There probably will be longer travel times,” said Lauren Loebsack, public information officer for the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Some westbound exits will be closed for about 12 hours while the work is underway. The westbound exits at Westshore Drive and Hansen Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Hiawatha Road exit will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m Thursday, and the Dodson Road exit is scheduled for closure from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.
Paving crews will be working on the westbound lanes, and Loebsack said traffic will be restricted to one lane, and speeds reduced, in the construction zones.
The paving crews will be working on the roadway and a section of the exits, Loebsack said.
