ATLAS: New home critique

I’m in total agreement with Lynn Fleming’s opinion on the Atlas waterfront homes. They are all the same with the appearance of futuristic fire stations and will be dated with all their angular rooflines.

It is so disappointing to see the lack of variety and uniqueness that makes other neighborhoods so special. (Garden District, Sanders Beach, Fort Grounds).

As a newcomer, I love going to the charming areas of town to walk and enjoy all the varieties of architecture and landscaping amongst the tall trees. I would hope the builders would realize how many of us really do appreciate the beauty of this amazing locale and want to preserve it for the future with charming walkable treed neighborhoods and a variety of architectural styles.
