No joke, Resort Golf Course to open this Friday
COEUR d’ALENE — The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course is excited to announce Opening Day will be Friday.
After a long winter, the Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course team has worked hard to prepare the award-winning 200-acre course for the long-awaited season. From polishing the fleet of luxury golf carts to manicuring the PGA Tour-quality fairways, the team has spared no expense to make the 2022 season one to remember.
“The conditions are perfect for an incredible tee-off into the golf season,” says President of The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course, Bob Nuttelman. “This spring looks like one of the best in recent years and we’re excited to get out on the Course.”
The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course strives to provide an experience like no other for golfers, with special amenities including forecaddie services, a pre-round sports massage, a lakefront practice tee, and views of Lake Coeur d’Alene from nearly every hole. The Floating Green Restaurant is also fully open for breakfast and lunch service.
Rates for Opening Day will start at $135 per player. Overnight accommodations are available with the Season Opening Stay & Play Package, which includes lakeside accommodations and is valid April 1-7 for a special season-opening rate.

GU’S Timme, Holmgren earn Wooden honors
Gonzaga’s Drew Timme and Chet Holmgren were named to the 2022 John R. Wooden All-American Team Wednesday, with Timme tabbed as a finalist for the Wooden Player of the Year Award.
Timme was named to the Wooden All-American Team last season. Gonzaga was the only program to have multiple student-athletes on this season’s team.
The Wooden Award All American Team is comprised of 10 student-athletes who were the top vote-getters in the quest to earn college basketball’s most prestigious honor. The 10-player team, alphabetically, consists of: Ochai Agbaji (Kansas), Kofi Cockburn (Illinois), Johnny Davis (Wisconsin), Holmgren, Jaden Ivey (Purdue), Bennedict Mathurin (Arizona), Keegan Murray (Iowa), Jabari Smith (Auburn), Timme and Oscar Tshiebwe (Kentucky). The five finalists for the 2022 John R. Wooden Award Presented by Wendy’s Men’s Player of the Year are: Agbaji, Davis, Murray, Timme, and Tshiebwe.
The 46th annual John R. Wooden Award Men’s Player of the Year will be announced on Tuesday on SportsCenter on ESPN.
The John R. Wooden Award Presented by Wendy’s Gala will take place at the Los Angeles Athletic Club on Friday, April 8.
