The city of Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission is seeking artists to participate in its “ArtCurrents” program. Artists submit applications for placement of their sculptures around downtown Coeur d’Alene, Riverstone and Atlas Waterfront Park areas for one year, with an option to renew for a second year.

The displayed works will also be offered for sale, with the city of Coeur d’Alene receiving a 25% commission.

The selected artists will be paid a stipend of $1,000 for the first year and another $1,000 for the second year.

ArtCurrents pieces are displayed along Sherman Avenue, Lakeside Avenue, City Park, Riverstone, and Atlas Waterfront Park areas.

Installation of the artwork will begin in October.

Applications must be received by July 8 at www.callforentry.org.
