“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5)

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”

(Psalm 139:13-16)

The recent leak of the Supreme Court documents indicating that the Roe versus Wade decision is possibly being reversed is good news for all those who believe what the Bible says about the beginning of life. It is clear from the scriptures above that life begins at conception and it is due time that the Supreme Court make right the wrong decision it erroneously made in 1973.

The result has been a bitterly divided country as well as the death of over 60 million precious, beautiful babies. Babies who would have been inventing, working, contributing, worshipping, loving. Their deaths will continue to bring about God’s judgment on our nation until we stop the murder of children in the womb.

Some news outlets and political rhetoric say that abortion will be outlawed nationwide but the likelihood is that the power to determine its legality will be given to individual states. More importantly, each state will have the right to follow biblical truth to protect the life of the unborn.

What a wonderful thing to see life created by God respected and loved. What a glorious thing to see life protected so that it can grow, mature, love, have joy, and come to a saving knowledge of Jesus.
