Grand marshal wanted for July 4 parade

The Coeur d’Alene Regional Chamber's Fourth of July Festival Committee is seeking nominations for this year’s grand marshal.
An outstanding community member is selected each year to lead the American Heroes Parade on Sherman Avenue sponsored by Numerica Credit Union.
Nominees should be longtime Coeur d’Alene residents "who have made significant contributions to our community," according to a press release.
Provide a brief written description of the nominee and reasons for making the nomination to [email protected] by June 1.
The chamber is also looking for local artists to create this year’s festival theme, "The Spirit of America."
"Whether professional or amateur, we are in search of a beautiful masterpiece," the release said.
