Soap Lake Suds N Sun planning underway

SOAP LAKE — The annual Soap Lake Suds N Sun Celebration is set for July 2-3 and planning is underway.

The two-day event will include a soapbox derby, parade, beer garden, vendors, live music, kids activities, fireworks and the Seattle Cossacks, a motorcycle stunt and drill team.

The event is put on by the City of Soap Lake, the Soap Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Soap Lake Business Coalition.

The event is still open for volunteers, vendors, sponsors or businesses to get involved.

A meeting is set for May 24 at 4 p.m. at the Soap Lake Visitor Information Center. Anyone interested in volunteering is asked to attend.
