In loving memory of Samantha “Sami” Jane Wilhelm, passed away May 15, 2022, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho at the age of 41.
Sami was born in San Francisco, Calif., on Oct. 30, 1980, to Pam Williams and Brian Lynhart. Sami was blessed with being raised not just by her mother, but by Merle Brown and Paula Shermere in her early childhood.
Sami lived in Ukiah, Calif., with Tony and Judy Oglesby and their sons Mike and Mark, and lived throughout her school years and then graduated in 1998.
Sami moved to Libby, Mont., and met Robert Graves and became an expectant mother. Sami moved to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and gave birth on June 26, 2003, to Michael “Mikey” Williams.
In 2004 Sami met Brian Wilhelm and his daughter Anna Wilhelm. They had their daughter Brayden Wilhelm on Sept. 26, 2005, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. They started their family in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and then decided to move to Ocean Shores, Wash., where Sami and Brian tied the knot on Aug. 25, 2012.
While living in Ocean Shores Sami worked at Quine Beach Resort & Casino, where she made many friends and memories. In 2013 Sami and her family moved back to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, where they settled down and enjoyed their lives.
Sami was a dedicated, hardworking employee and manager for Moon’s Bar, Dueling Irons, and Exxon and Chevron gas station. She was an outgoing, social butterfly. Compassionate to everyone and willing to help a friend or stranger in need. Sami’s thoughtful, kind, sensitive heart was one of a kind and all that knew her, know how blessed they were to have her in their lives. She enjoyed camping trips with her family, spending quality time with her kids and making memories she could cherish. She had many interests but her main interest was her family and friends.
Sami was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard Williams and Diane Bedsaul.
Sami is survived by her loving husband Brian, son Mikey, daughter Brayden, daughter Anna, mother Pam, father Brian, half siblings, and mother-in-law Nancy Wilhelm, aunt Nikki Thackaberry, uncle Rick Williams, best friend Wendy Wisper.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Dueling Irons, 1780 E. Schneidmiller Ave., Post Falls, Idaho. Friends and family are welcome.
