Marcus Manzardo
Community Colleges of Spokane baseball
Manzardo, a freshman from Lake City High, was named to the All-East Region second team as an infielder, the conference announced. Manzardo was also named a Gold Glove recipient. Manzardo appeared in 31 games for the Sasquatch, hitting .311 (34 for 135) with three doubles, 11 RBIs and 22 runs scored. Spokane (31-12) faces Edmonds in the NWAC Championships today at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Wash.
Jack McDonald
Lassan baseball
McDonald, a freshman left-handed pitcher from Timberlake High, had a 3.13 earned run average in 20 appearances for Lassan, a California Community College Baseball Association team in Susanville, Calif. McDonald struck out 26 in 31 ⅔ innings pitched, finishing with one save.
Jackson Scherr
Wenatchee Valley baseball
Scherr, a sophomore right-handed pitcher from Lake City High, appeared in 18 games for the Knights (16-35), going 1-2 on the season. Scherr had 26 strikeouts in 32 innings pitched.
Kiley Cutler
Spokane track and field
Cutler, a freshman from Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy, finished second in the 400 meter hurdles at the NWAC Championships at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Ore., on Tuesday, finishing in 1 minute, 4.54 seconds. Cutler was also sixth in the 100 hurdles in 16.66 seconds.
Jacob Schnatter
Spokane track and field
Schnatter, a freshman from Lake City High, was sixth in the men's triple jump at 12.85 meters.
Chase Gardom
Idaho State track and field
Gardom, a junior from Timberlake High, finished second in the decathlon at the Big Sky Championships on May 12 with a total of 7,102 points, 26 points behind winner Caleb Whitney of Weber State. Gardom is now 10th in the all-time leader board with his effort. In the discus, Gardom threw a personal best 40.95 meters, finishing second. In the pole vault, he jumped 4.02 and had a personal record of 50.65 in the javelin. Gardom won the 1,500 in 4:43.41.

Leonard, a junior from Coeur d'Alene High, finished 24th in the men's hammer throw at the West Preliminary Round of the NCAA Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., with a throw of 204 feet, 9 inches.

Ward, a sophomore from Coeur d'Alene High, finished 25th in the West Preliminary Round of the NCAA Championships at Fayetteville, Ark., in the men's hammer throw, finishing with a throw of 204 feet, 3 inches.
