JoAnn Myrna Rouse, 88, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, passed away May 10, 2022.
JoAnn was born on Dec. 12, 1933, in Clark Fork, Idaho, to George and Mary Holliday. She grew up and attended schools in the area.
In 1953, JoAnn was a carhop at the Boat Drive-in, located at the East end of Sherman Avenue. A 1952 Buick pulled into the drive-in. Dressed in his service uniform was Richard Rouse. They fell in love and soon married. They welcomed two children, Ron and Wendy. JoAnn and Dick were married for 68 years.
After retiring, JoAnn and Dick enjoyed spending winters in Arizona. JoAnn enjoyed crosswords, crafting and gardening.
JoAnn was proceeded in death by her parents and her daughter, Wendy.
JoAnn is survived by her husband of 68 years, Dick Rouse, and her son, Ron.
