MOSES LAKE — Paving in the westbound lanes of Interstate 90 from Moses Lake to the Grant-Adams county line is scheduled to begin June 1.
Jeff Deal, Washington Department of Transportation engineer on the project, wrote in response to an email from the Herald that paving is scheduled to continue through June 16. It’s the continuation of a project to repave the westbound lanes from Dodson Road to the county line.
The section from Dodson Road to Moses Lake already has been completed, and Deal said the project is ahead of schedule.
Resurfacing work on bridges in the eastbound lanes is projected to be completed by the end of this week.
“There will be two days of paving in the eastbound direction next week, which will complete paving and bridge work in that direction,” Deal wrote.
Bridges in the westbound lanes will be resurfaced after the paving is completed, he wrote. That work is scheduled for June 20 through 23.
